If you prefer working behind the scenes, AMDA’s performance studies major will set you on the path toward successful careers such as teaching, producing, or writing.
Offered during fall semester on AMDA’s Los Angeles campus, our Performance Studies Degree is our only non-audition program and includes foundational training in acting, music, and movement, supplemented by studies in media and entertainment.
You will also take courses in arts and humanities, the natural sciences, and social sciences. The knowledge and skills you gain in our performance studies major position you to work in several existing and emerging performing arts environments and related industries.
