Our Admissions team is here to help guide you through the application process. Please be sure to complete all the applicable requirements listed below to ensure successful submission and to be considered for scholarships. Requirements vary by program. For a full list of programs, please see here.

Complete the application by clicking Apply Now. If you have any questions prior to filling out the application, you are welcome to fill out the Request Information form. The Request Information form does not qualify as an Application and a student will only move forward to be reviewed for acceptance once the Application is completed.

Once the application is complete, you will receive a link to sign up on OnceHub for an interview. You will select a date and time for your interview, and one of our program associates will give you a call at your selected appointment time. The interview is meant to better get to know the student behind the application and takes 10-15 minutes to complete.

Once the application and interview are reviewed, the parent or guardian of the student will receive a call and email to notify them if their student has been accepted into the program. The email and call will also go over details of the program, policies and answer any questions.

Submit your $250 deposit to secure your spot. Deposits may be paid through your Admissions Portal or via a link sent to your email address.

Once accepted to the High School Conservatory, students must submit demonstration materials specific to their focus. These submissions give faculty the opportunity to evaluate each student’s unique talents in order to better prepare for individualized instruction. Click the button below for instructions on creating and submitting your demonstration materials.

Once you have sent in the demonstration materials, submit all forms for your program, which can be accessed in your Admissions Portal. All forms are due 4 weeks prior to the start date of your intended program.

Parent Testimonials

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all so very much as Amelia' has had the best time of her life. She truly doesn't want to come back home. Everything has just been perfect for her."

S. Jennings

"I want to express how much my daughter is getting out of this summer experience at AMDA.I know this because she has taken the time to reach out, more often than expected, to tell me about her day and the people she gets to meet and to thank us for this opportunity. The best is her excitement about learning Broadway choreography, audition do's and don'ts, and the video they made along with doing face masks in the dorm room with her new best friend from across the country. As the second week nears to the end, I have to tell you how much it means to the students and especially us, the parents, that you all work so hard to provide such an amazing experience. Thank you, everyone!"

E. Dillon

"My daughter has had a wonderful experience and appreciates the fact that she has been able to enjoy both the NYC and LA programs. I was very impressed with the final performances and must once again state a big WOW to the dance choreographers, truly amazing."

S. Nelson

"Hats off to everyone at LA campus. From the security guards at the gate to all the faculty. Everyone was very helpful and answered all our concerns without even having to ask any questions. We know our son is in good hands thanks."

R. Anderson

"I sincerely appreciate the effort you are all taking in ensuring the safety of AMDA's students.I would also like to quickly express my heartfelt gratitude for having such a fantastic program AND a fantastic photographer. Not only are his photos well-framed and inclusive of all the kids at this program, his photos have clearly captured how happy and comfortable my daughter Kiara is at AMDA. So I am very grateful, not only for his photos which allow me to vicariously experience this wonderful journey my daughter is on, but also for the opportunities you are giving to all of these children which empowers them to be more than they may have ever imagined possible before. My heart is full."

T. Campbell

"My daughter is having a wonderful time and really enjoying her experience. It is very impressive how much they are doing and how hard they're working. Thank you very much for such an excellent opportunity. Thank You for keeping the kids so safe and having such a well-run program that they can actually be in New York City for two weeks. Such a great experience for all the kids."

B. Jones

"I'm writing to thank all of you for being instrumental in shaping such a wonderful experience for our 16 year old son at AMDA NYC Session 2. He has shared so much but one comment that stands out is that he quotes an acting instructor as saying to him "One of your greatest gifts is your spirit. Don't let anyone ever stomp on that!". He treasures that comment, the hard work, constructive feedback and all of the great friendships he made with kids from around the country and the world. Life changing time for him. Thank you also for reassuring my husband and I during orientation with "Don't worry nervous parents everywhere-we've got this!"(or something like that). A wonderful experience all around!"

A. Burch

"Our daughter is So So happy that right now is what she likes and decide what counts!! As I told you, we are really happy she got this opportunity to be part of AMDA!! This will be an unforgettable summer!"

O. Delance

"I want to thank you for all that you do for our daughter and all the kids to make this camp possible!! What an awesome opportunity for all of them!! She is thrilled with all the help she is getting from the staff. She said the professors are wonderful and gifted with such talent and knowledge! She is not taking one second for granted! She has a huge amount of respect for everyone she said from counselors, all staff, who she has come to love, and all the teachers!!! She said "just everyone who works with AMDA". She also told me the group she is in is not a very close tight knit group with everyone being good friends! They all help each other and work closely together. She said it was so refreshing because they all seem to have good hearts that are sincerely caring and uplifting with each other. We are so thankful that we did pick AMDA for her! She is learning skills that will help her with her high school this year and also with trying out for college. Everything she has learned at AMDA will help her throughout her life! We have all of you to thank for that!"

P. Seidl

"I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for everything you have done to make my daughter's theatrical experience at AMDA a memory of a lifetime. I sincerely appreciate everything that you have done to encourage and enable Katherine to be successful during her two sessions at your conservatory. I wish you all the best."

T. Bradford

"My daughter is currently attending the July 3-16th Summer Conservatory Program. She called me Thursday with a concern about the program, and by the end of our conversation, she communicated to me that her and the other musical theater participants decided to approach the school's leaders about their concerns. I'm not writing to complain. I'm writing to say thank you. When the participants approached your program leaders, their concerns were listened to and an action plan was discussed. They felt listened to, and validated. That's the sign of a strong program. Again, I want to thank you and your staff for helping these young artists grow."

C. Sena

"Thank you all so much for your diligent effort to help my daughter. This is the 1st time she has ever been away from home for more than just 1 night. I know that she is having a great time. She is texting us and sending pictures of all of her awesome experiences this week. Thank you for allowing her this opportunity and for looking over her. Thank you again for everything you do."

S. Waggoner

"Thank you does not seem sufficient for the gratitude I have for you. The entire summer program was well built, perfectly run and surpassed my hopes and wishes. I want you to know I appreciate the attention and constant effort that I feel was given to my daughter at AMDA. I believe this program will have an immense impact on her as well as the other students who attended. The obvious training and class work are wonderful but mean little if a program is not well run. You and your staff did an impeccable job with this program. To the entire program: from every instructor, trainer, director, manager, accompanist, I hold all of you in the highest regard. I will sing your praises from the rooftops forever. Thank you for your dedication."

S. Pycior

"I just want to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help and understanding. I was able to take my daughter to LA and I must say "This was a Dream Come True." She is very excited to be a part of the program. I was very pleased with the warm welcome and the family atmosphere I sensed at the college. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Thanks again for making this happen."

M. Orelus

"My daughter had an INCREDIBLE experience during Session 1 in LA. She's only just now stopped saying, "Mom, why am I not back at AMDA!" She loved her instructors — and enjoyed remarkable growth as an artist over the two-week period."

J. Salisbury

"Our daughter said the program was the greatest thing she's ever done in her entire life! To say that she loved it is an understatement."

S. Taylor

"We received the summer conservatory video for our daughter and it was an awesome performance, she really enjoyed her time there at AMDA and she is looking forward to returning again next summer. Hopefully she can attend again! She really has a desire to attend AMDA for her college years to come. Thank you so much for all of your help and support!"
