Offered on our Los Angeles campus, the BFA in Vocal Performance for Commercial Music immerses you in every aspect of modern music creation, from studio recording to live stage performance. From day one, you will be in the recording studio, accompanied by a variety of professional musicians and specially made tracks. You will learn to record audio on portable devices early on so you can produce material throughout the program.
Although the primary focus of our vocal performance degree is developing your skills as a commercial music vocalist, courses in audio engineering and video editing, along with an emphasis on songwriting, enhance your vocal abilities and transform you into a content creator who can produce your own work.
You will explore music fundamentals and all genres of contemporary music. Students are guided to develop a sound and style that is unique to them. Develop your vocal harmonies, arrangements, vocal improvisation, and contemporary rhythm band instruments in our vocal performance degree.
