AMDA Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) Degree and Certificate graduates are eligible to earn an Advanced Certificate (AC) in Performing Arts with a concentration in Acting, Acting for Camera, Dance, or Musical Theatre by transferring in 60 credits and completing an additional 30 credits.
AMDA Advanced Certificate graduates are eligible to then continue on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree in Acting, Film & Television Arts: Acting for Camera, Music Theatre or Dance by transferring in 90 credits and completing 12 performance and 18 general education credits.
Note: Additional coursework may be required if you are applying for an Advanced Certificate or BFA Program outside of your AOS or Certificate area of study. Credits earned through AMDA Certificate Program studies are not applicable toward degree completion at the New York Campus but may be transferred to degree programs at AMDA Los Angeles or AMDA online.
AC for AOS/Cert Alumni
The requirements are simple: you must be a graduate of AMDA's AOS or Certificate programs or be in your 4th semester of your AOS/Certificate program.
You must be in good academic and financial standing for acceptance.
