September 16, 2026 - AMDA has earned the No. 3 spot on Playbill's annual list of colleges and universities with the most graduates performing on Broadway. The new ranking moves AMDA up one place from last year and continues a Top 5 run dating back to 2017.
Each year, Playbill publishes “Where Did the Actors of the Broadway Season Go to School?” to identify the schools most represented on Broadway stages. This year's list includes every actor who performed in a Broadway production from April 28, 2025, through April 26, 2026, the Tony Awards eligibility period for the season. An incredible forty-four AMDA graduates were recognized!
