Study in New York for an additional year and earn an Advanced Certificate with a concentration in Dance, designed to refine your skills and deepen your knowledge of the performing arts. This flexible program offers a blend of general education and specialized electives, allowing you to focus on dance technique or explore other performing arts disciplines. In your final semester, you’ll have the opportunity to perform in a production of your choice—whether it’s dance, musical theatre, acting, or on camera. After completing the certificate, students can seamlessly transition to complete their degree at our Los Angeles Campus, Online, or stay in New York City and complete their Bachelor of Arts through the Fordham Pathway.

  • Transfer all 90 credits towards AMDA's BFA degree in LA or Online
  • Or Transfer to Fordham University in NYC upon completion and graduate with your B.A. in 2-3 Semesters
  • *Credits earned through AMDA Certificate Program studies are not applicable toward degree completion at the New York campus. These credits are fully transferable to degree programs offered at AMDA Los Angeles, Fordham, or AMDA Online.

Admission Requirements

To apply, you must be a graduate of AMDA's AOS, Certificate, or Advanced Certificate programs or be in your 4th semester of your AOS/Certificate program, or 6th semester of your Advanced Certificate program.

You must be in good academic and financial standing for acceptance.
