Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre (Online) for AOS/Cert Alumni

In today's music theatre world—where self-tapes, virtual auditions, and digital branding are non-negotiable—AMDA's Online Music Theatre BFA builds on timeless core training (voice, acting, dance, scene study) with cutting-edge digital skills to prepare versatile, industry-ready performers. The Online curriculum develops hands-on skills in self-filming, lighting, sound recording/editing, and remote production, empowering students to self-produce high-quality music videos, master self-tapes, and shine in virtual callbacks—skills that give them a real edge in today's competitive market. Students delve deep into character work through their online content and virtual performances. They also graduate with a professional digital songbook featuring their strongest self-tapes. Their culminating Capstone Portfolio includes a range of work from music videos to short films and original creative content. These integrated digital components align well with today's music theatre landscape, where versatility in digital performance can set graduates apart.
